Here is another example of the taxi from Gift Set 35. This driver has a uniform and cap. This is the only source of taxis with drivers that I am aware of, although I suppose it is feasible that some could have found their way into normal 418 boxes.

Strangely, there are two types of driver - this one and another with a bow tie and waistcoat. I would guess that the uniform one is rather earlier but the example I have is from a model with free spinning wheels so it cannot have been that early.

This particular model has wonderful paintwork, almost untouched, and the screens are clear and the wheels and suspension are good. With this driver, which seems to be the scarcer of the two, these are hard to find.

This was purchased for a collector in Germany.
