An absolutely superb example of Corgi’s engineering at its peak. This was a very popular model. Not one I had and it is only now that I have acquired one and been able to appreciate just how smart the mechanics are. Even after 50 years the knobs turn smoothly and raise the arms on this device in such a way that the basket stays horizontal.

There are also extendable feet on the base to keep the whole thing stable.

This example is in excellent condition with very nice brass effect tubing. It is all there including the chap holding the nozzle at the very top.

These were around for many many years and must have been one of the models with the highest sales so there are quite a lot still around and prices are not very high for recent models. However, these first editions in a good solid box and unbroken polystyrene are much more sought after.
