These are photos of the actual model available. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All models advertised are original, not restored or repainted unless I have stated otherwise.
Most of the Corgi range had some appeal for me in one way or another but I have struggled to find anything about the early racing cars. They just looked so basic and lacking in much detail. Maybe there just wasn’t much detail. Anyway, here it is.
This is the Vanwall in green with a cream seat, the very first issue from 1957.
This is in very good condition indeed, with no paint loss that I can see. The wheels are good with the correct size tyres that look original and the silver exhaust and inside the nose cone is there. Very slight chipping on the edge of the nose perhaps. The Vanwall transfer and RN3 are nice.
There is also a red version of this 150, very often confused with the 150S. There seem to be two versions of how the text is displayed on the underside too. This one is in line with the body.
This has a blue tinted screen. The red one I have is clear.
