Most of the Corgi range had some appeal for me in one way or another but I have struggled to find anything about the early racing cars. They just looked so basic and lacking in much detail. Maybe there just wasn’t much detail. Anyway, here it is.
This is the Vanwall in red with a silver seat, introduced a little after the very first Racing Car issue which had been green and very similar to the BRM.
This is in very good condition, with just a few chips and small marks on the top of the screen. The wheels are good with the correct size tyres. The Vanwall transfer is intact but the RN1 has mostly disappeared.
This a red version is very often confused with the 150S. There seem to be two versions of how the text is displayed on the underside too. This one is perpendicular to the body line.
This also has a clear screen. The green one I have is blue tinted.
