There was a game made by Fernel Developments Ltd which featured two modified #226s. They had Monte Carlo Rally transfers (usually 117) or East African Safari stickers and, most importantly, a round hole drilled in the base. This enabled the cars to be placed over a device which pulled them around a track.

That’s about all I know about the Game! There were two versions: Monte Carlo Rally and East African Safari and they were produced around 1967. Now they normally had the lilac blue Morris Minors and they appear for sale from time to time and make extremely high prices. However, as this expert shows, there was also the red-purple variant and I have managed to get hold of one. When I bought it I had no idea but did wonder if the hole might be for the same game and, indeed, it is. I have added a replacement sticker but the car itself is almost unmarked and in superb original condition.
