These are photos of the actual model available. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All models advertised are original, not restored or repainted unless I have stated otherwise.

This is a very dumbed down version of the original. Gone is virtually everything, including steering, mudflaps, jewelled headlamps and opening anything!

There were two main variations during this short time: a ‘Flower Power’ one and a plain orange one.

Here, though, I have stumbled across an odd one I cannot quickly identify. It is the same cast as all the others and virtually identical to #383 apart from colour, some better paintwork detail and nice wheels. The base is almost the same but with the revised Corgi logo with the dog and, a bit worringly, missing Made In Great Britain.

There were two yellow versions made for export to Switzerland and Germany but I haven’t seen either and haven’t yet found any details. They would have had stickers but I can imagine they might have come off or never been attached.

So, until I can see where this comes from, I can’t put a price on it. Looks like a special Corgi Classics model made for a Yoohoo drinks promotion in the late 1990s.
