This is a late Corgi model but a nice one in the right scale. The Hamleys toy store is the famous one in London that every child wants to visit and I guess the van is done up in their colours although it does look a bit serious in black.

Very strangely, this comes with two plastic figures who need painting as they are completely white. There are no paints in the box but a sort of map and instruction sheet tells you where to paint which of many Humbrol colours.

I am not sure this was the brightest idea anyone had for adding more sales for Corgi but it does beat Whizzwheels in some respects, I suppose.

This van reminds me of the Police Mini Van from the original Corgi days and I think that was why I bought it. Now I have one of those so this can safely go. It is very attractive and well made, from 1995, and in its original box - all as good as new.
