This is a late Corgi model but a nice one in the right scale. It is also one of my favourite models from the later period and is actually manufactured with the same cast as they had way back in the die-cast days!

They are a few changes but really not as many as you might have expected.

The only thing I don’t like is that these models were made not as toys to be played with but for adults to keep in the Perspex case on a shelf somewhere. I have two of these, the latest being more or less as new. I had to get that because I had notice two bumps on the wings of my first one and wondered what they should have been, assuming they were aerials that had broken off. They’re actually wing mirrors! Very vulnerable to coming off, though, being extremely thin plastic but lovely for all that. There is also a spattering of realistic looking mud and the wipers are clearing an appropriate pattern on the screen.

All in all this is wonderful. I am not desperate to sell this. They’re inexpensive still but if you’d like one then I’ll let it go and look for another!
