I never really wanted either this or its hard-top cousin. I’m not sure why as it is a reasonably good model of an excellent sports car. It might have been the absence of seats in the hard top and a tendency to lump it in with the early racing models that, to this day at the time of writing, I still haven’t bought even for stock!

There are several versions of this. It started as a white car without suspension in 1958, getting the unique to 303 / 4 suspension in 1961. There are white and blue versions as well as silver and a driver gets added in 1962. The cast wheels on this version, however, are quite late, appearing in 1963 and not around for that long as it gets withdrawn in 1964.

This, therefore, is a little better than some of the 303S models and is in very good condition too with a good screen and side windows, driver in place and only one or two marks on the paintwork that are not easy to spot anyway.
