The commercial Volkswagens were an odd bunch of models that never really seemed to be that popular or be around for long. I suppose the one exception would be the ‘Kombi’ which we now know better as the ‘Camper van’ or ‘Hippiemobile’!

The van is very dull, not even having the trans-o-lite headlamps that the ‘Toblerone’ branded version has. In fact, you do have to wonder why on Earth they brought this out as a separate model. They are all white over red and usually the large flat surfaces get damaged but this one has survived very well indeed.

These usually have good suspension and all will be free spinning wheels.

All the VW vans are quite scarce. The only one that survived for a longer period was the pick up in breakdown truck form.
