So this is where it all began in 1956. This inconspicuous and unattractive car was the very first in Corgi’s catalogue and in the first batch put on sale.

This is the very first version in cream. With no friction motor. It is the scarcer shade, the more common one being  sort of mushroom tan colour.

This looks absolutely brilliant, as fresh as new and the windows are so clear you almost wonder if they are actually there!

The wheels and tyres are excellent. That can make a huge difference to the model.

Another scarce and collectable item indeed.
