These are photos of the actual model you are buying. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All models advertised are original, not restored or repainted unless I have stated otherwise.
This is a brand new, untouched 2014/5 model, the latest in the 1:43 line of this model.
There are two editions - silver and gold and they come in identical boxes and have the same catalogue number but most places add G for gold and S for silver. The cast is very nicely detailed but the gold colour that same syrupy affair that we had in 4201 some years ago.
The silver model is still available to order but I think this gold one has sold out, twice now as it was first released as 4203 in 2014 and that went as soon as it appeared. From what I can gather there is no difference between 4203 and 4204 other than the number (but someone may correct me on that!)
These are, therefore, currently very sought after by people who missed the preorder window.
It is a nicely packed model and the box sort of reminds us of the original 1965 issue too, with vaguely similar graphics. The box has a Special Instructions sheet too and the model has all the features you’ll have seen before, but no tyre slashers this time.
To open the box requires counterintuitive actions so expect a few to get damaged!
