These are photos of the actual model you are buying. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All models advertised are original, not restored or repainted unless I have stated otherwise.
From a collection of ‘one owner since childhood’ models, this is an unusual Spanish model that has been carefully looked after for many years.
Joal recently stopped trading but had been producing much-loved die-cast models for 50 years and this is one of their earliest. Made of strong metal it is a heavy item with opening bonnet, doors and boot. It has some unusual features: the front wheels steer properly, similar in design to Corgi’s Bentley and Mercedes, the boot has a spare wheel taking up all the space and the paint is a rather thick and strange orange.
The wheels are chromed but not the front or rear bumpers. It is 1:43 scale and nicely detailed.
It appears to be near mint and I can detect no faults. Joal made cars from the Tekno (Kirk) Danish moulds so this is of interest to collectors of 70s Tekno as well. It is from the late 70s, later reissued in red and green, but this is the sought-after original model.
A scarce and well-made model that is supplied with its original case, model leaflet and two road signs. The case has cracks and the screw attachment has been repaired but displays well.
