I can’t believe it took me two years to find one of these! And I mean in any condition (other than the restored one I picked up in desperation a while ago!). So I am delighted that the first has been a really nice, clean, original example. Quite frankly, I can’t see much wrong at all - three or four paint chips on the roof but lovely windows, wheels and rust-free base.

These are not seen as particularly scarce but they are, and QDT have one with a box at £285. The box, of course, didn’t change so is not so difficult to get hold of and that’s my next task.

In the meantime, this is now available for the next searcher to find. It isn’t cheap but then, after such a long time looking you wouldn’t expect it to be!
