These are photos of the actual model you are buying. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All Black List models advertised are originals that have been restored and repainted in black, silver or white. They are not intended to be precise restorations of any particular issued model.

This one was made because I had seen one advertised as a ‘rare non-motorised model without suspension in white’. It claimed that Corgi used up white top sections, combined them with 211S bases and sold them abroad, the particular one having ‘Blanche’ written on the box ostensibly from an old French shop stock.

Despite also getting a mention on QDT I am not convinced yet. The 211S base would have provided suspension. Anyway, I thought I’d make one but used a 211 base and this seems a far more likely probably model. We know that there were ‘normal’ coloured models with motors and ‘M’ colour models without.

I was going to list this at £5 next to the £500 model at the time but rather liked this so wouldn’t want to sell it that cheaply!

I am not trying to restore them to original specification but hoping that some collectors will give these cars a new home. They are not perfect but they do look smart on display.
