Starting to obtain examples of the trucks and lorries, this is a nice early model. The flatbed lasted from 1957 to 1965. Strangely, Corgi already had the Commer 5T from the year before and there’s not a great deal of difference between that and this ERF Model 44G.

Lorries were, I think, more important to kids then, so maybe varieties of lorries were just as necessary as cars for some.

The ERF was always in this nice combination of light and dark blue, with fixed wheels which may become shaped hubs in late editions.

It is not uncommon but not many have survived well. This has good windows, very little paint loss, really only along the platform edges. The wheels and tyres are excellent and the base rust free. Nice.
